STKH App (the "App") is a personal desktop application that runs locally on the operator's own computer. It turns science explainer scripts into short vertical videos and, only when the user clicks a button, sends them to the user's own TikTok account through TikTok's official Login Kit and Content Posting API. By using the App you agree to these Terms.

1. Who operates the App

The App is developed and operated by an individual developer (GitHub: tu-dxai) for personal, non-commercial use. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance.

2. What the App does

Generates video from scripts provided by the user, using AI text-to-speech and AI-generated images.
Lets the user connect their TikTok account and, on request, upload a video to their TikTok inbox as a draft or post it directly with the caption, privacy level and settings the user chooses.
Never posts automatically. Every upload is started manually by the user.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the content you create and upload, including making sure it is accurate and that you have the rights to it.
You must comply with TikTok's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, including labeling AI-generated content.
You must not use the App to send spam, mislead viewers, or infringe anyone's rights.

4. Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services: TikTok (account connection and video upload), Microsoft Edge text-to-speech and Google Text-to-Speech (voice-over), and Pollinations (image generation). Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. The App is not responsible for their availability or behavior.

5. Disconnecting

You can disconnect your TikTok account at any time with the "Disconnect" button in the App, or by removing the App's access in your TikTok account settings.

6. No warranty

The App is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the App, including failed uploads or content removed by TikTok.

7. Changes

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
